Civil Rights Dream

Civil Rights Dream is the site for Ken Bedell’s book “Realizing the Civil Rights Dream: Diagnosing and Treating American Racism” in which he explains how America can realize the civil rights dream in the 21st century if U.S. citizens take actions as individuals as well as work together for full participation of all.

Author Ken Bedell publishes material that didn’t fit in the book, new data and ideas, ongoing notes related to each chapter in the book, and references to work that other people are doing.

The design of the site is based on the book jacket which uses an image of a patchwork quilt drawn from the concept of a patchwork quilt nation discussed in the book.
