Church Within A Church Movement
The Church Within A Church Movement (CWACM) is an expansive anti-oppression community honoring a diversity of spiritual, religious and philosophical truths and their fullest expressions.
The site highlights the work of CWACM in four major agenda areas – Disrupting Privilege, Justice Ministries, Religious Violence, and Claiming Our Identities – plus the JUSTNotes blog, clergy profile pages, the CWACM store, and their twice-a-year Justice Summits.
The home page features a full-width slideshow with CSS animation (seen in above image with dark gray background). When each grayscale background image changes, the text, color image, and action button(s) slide in individually on each slide.
The CWACM Communications Team spent a year or so planning the design and updating the content. Their priorities included enabling easy access to major pages of the site from the home page (second section of home page seen above), including more images, and sharing why people say they are members (bottom of home page seen below).
We worked together to implement a phased build and launch of the new site and additional new features are planned.
